I am just recuperating from a flu/cold bug that I have had for over a week. I do not even remember the last time I was out for such a long time. At one point last week I had had enough and went into the office after only 3 hours I realized this was a very bad idea and came back home. The next day I felt worse then I originally felt. I could no longer stick my head in the sand about the message my body was giving me.
STOP doing everything and rest.
How often does our intuition speak to us through our bodies and we ignore it?
A great exercise to do is to sit very quietly and think about each part of your body and ask it to relax. Take deep breathes as you think about each body part. When you have relaxed your whole body just sit quietly for a few moments then ask your body what message it has for you. You will be amazed when you listen the messages you will get. I did this exercise with the group of amazing women that attended my Introduction to Intuition workshop this weekend. The messages were varied but we all got them. For me it was to stop being in a rush and to slow down. This was a message I really needed to hear.
